Creating A Vocal Pad/Synth In Ableton

how to vocal chop in ableton

Creating vocal pads/synths in Ableton has never been so simple (mind the pun)

If you don’t know how to turn a vocal line into a synth or pad then you need to watch this!!! It takes just minutes to make and all you need is Ableton’s simpler, a vocal stem (If you need some download our vocal pack from our Free Downloads section here) and that’s it!

Vocals are so versatile there is no limit to what you can do with the human vocal, especially when you have a powerful DAW such as Ableton!

One of the great things about this technique shown below is that even if your looping isn’t perfect, you can just apply reverb and you have a choir like effect! 2 for 1! And once you have the basic technique of loading up vocals into simpler, you can just change up the effects after to create an entirely different style/sound. Add some distortion and reverb and it becomes a trap lead. Or apply a filter and some saturation and it becomes a creepy bass.

What are you waiting for? Check out the quick tutorial below to get to know this technique!
