CREATE IDEAS AND SHAPE DROPS WITHIN MINUTES

With Oblivion we wanted to make it as easy as possible to unleash your creativity by trying new styles and sounds. To showcase this we set ourselves only a few minutes to transform blank Ableton Sessions into potential drops and ideas for tracks using the sounds inside of Oblivion.

IDEA #1 [TRIPLETS]

For our first idea we try creating an edgy but funky drop using triplets and hard hitting sounds.

IDEA #2 [AGRESSIVE]

In this idea, we get inspiration from a Bass Loop & Fx Loop in Oblivion, work with a Serum Preset and add Punchy Drums to create something more aggressive.

IDEA #3 [EXPERIMENTAL TRAP]

For this example we worked with glitches to form the lead line of a trap drop as well as utilising Ableton’s creative FX to give the lead more texture.

Can these Samples work in any DAW?

The Samples are high quality audio Wav Files so that means they can work in any DAW such as Ableton, Fl Studio, Logic Pro & More.

The Serum Presets require the VST “SERUM 1 or 2 by xFer Records” (Version 1.215 and above)
